By Plane Gallatin Field Airport is located 15 miles east in Belgrade on Interstate 90. There are call taxi's and hotel shuttles available to bring you into town, but renting a car is advisable. Rental locations are a good 5-15 minute walk from the airport, depending on luggage, as the terminal is located off the main road.
By Car There are two main exits from Interstate 90, the N. 19th exit, and the N 7th exit. The N. 19th exit is further from the down town area, but quicker to Montana State University. There are a few hotels close to the exit, as well as a rest area. The N. 7th exit is closer to the downtown area and has a wider selection of restaurants and hotels immediately available.
Bozeman is 87 miles east of Butte, Montana via I-90, 143 miles west of Billings, Montana. Yellowstone National Park is approximately 90 miles south via Route 89, or Route 191.
